The Galkin’s are a family of four, and they all dream of having a place they can call home and create everlasting memories together. Driven by the desire for stability and freedom, they have made the decision to move from renter to owner. They are excited to have their own home and motivated to build equity and generational wealth.

They learned about Habitat through a friend. After hearing about Habitat’s mission and work in the community, they decided to apply. Habitat for Humanity’s core tenant that “everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live” resonates with the family, and they are grateful for the opportunity to purchase a Habitat home through the program.
