Meet the Future Homeowners
“Becoming a homeowner would be evidence that generational curses don’t last always, and no matter the length of time, anything that you wish to have, you will have if you work for it.”
From Jermaine’s application letter
Jermaine is a single father of 2, and over the decades, he has watched the economy shift and the cost of living continually rise. He watched the years fly by, but nothing was changing. So, three years ago, he decided to make a change. Jermaine found OnTrack, and since then he has been working on his finances and credit. When he was awarded OnTrack’s Client of the Year, he knew God was working alongside him.
He soon thereafter decided to apply for Habitat’s homeownership program. And he continues to stay on top of his finances, ask questions, and utilize available resources. Jermaine is thankful for OnTrack and for Asheville Habitat; two organizations that he considers a blessing to him and his family.
By partnering with Habitat, Jermaine’s dream of having a place to call his own is coming true. He is proud to share this accomplishment with his children. He reminds them, “that no matter what, always fight through adversity and God will give you all your heart desires, and generational curses don’t last always.”
