Iryna and her mother have been searching for affordable housing for years. They have worked hard each and every day, yet safe, decent, and affordable housing continued to elude them. Despite their struggles, they never gave up on their dream of not only affordable housing, but of affordable homeownership.

Dedicated and determined, Iryna decided to reach out to Habitat. She was aware of Habitat’s homeownership program, and is ready to put in the work needed to watch her future as a homeowner blossom.

By partnering with Habitat, Iryna’s dream of purchasing a home for herself and her mother is coming true. They will soon have a place to call home, and a place to make memories. They are most excited about the full kitchen where they will cook meals together. Iryna has been approved for a home in the Glenn Bridge community.
