Build with us in Guatemala

A Global Village Trip is a great opportunity to help change lives with Habitat, experience another culture, meet like-minded people, and do work that warms your heart and fills your soul.

When: October 31 – November 7, 2026

Where: Quetzaltenango, Guatemala

What: Volunteers will help Habitat Guatemala replace dirt floors with concrete floors as part of their “100,000 Floors to Play On” campaign. The initiative prioritizes women-led households with children under age 6, elderly members, and people with disabilities.

Why: Replacing dirt floors with concrete significantly improves health, safety, and emotional well-being. Resiliency against natural disasters like floods and storms is also improved by concrete floors.

Trip cost: $2,369 + airfare (includes $600 donation to Habitat Guatemala)

Note: Click on the login button in the upper righthand corner. Register as a new user, unless you already have an account. Event code: GVA0140

Everyone Belongs Here

Our vision is a world where everyone has a place to call home, and we can’t make that happen without creating a space for everyone to be part of the solution. We welcome volunteers of all colors, creeds, cultures, orientations, gender identities, levels of ability, and all other differences knowing that what unites us is greater than what divides us.
