Stay Home with Habitat Giveaway Rules  

  1. A donation is not required to enter the Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity (AAHH) giveaway.  
  2. The entry period begins at 12:01 AM on January 25, 2021 and ends at 12:01 AM on February 5, 2021. 
  3. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the deadline date. 
  4. AAHH will draw a winning name once per day between February 1 – 5, 2021  for the giveaway. Winner need not be present to win. One name will be drawn for a specific chef and goody package. If your name is drawn, AAHH will coordinate with you and the donating chef to arrange your prizes to be delivered to you. If a reasonable attempt (3 times in 15 days) to contact you is not responded to, the winner forfeits the prize.  
  5. Meal delivery is limited to a 30-mile radius from Asheville, NC. If you win and live outside of this area, you will need to arrange pick–up or delivery with the chef.  
  6. Some dietary needs may not be able to be accommodated.  
  7. Delivery of winning package will be contactless, following best COVID-19 safety procedures. 
  8. Entrants must be 18 or older. Incomplete entries are void.  
  9. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner(s).  
  10. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, hometown, and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or email.  

By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. AAHH is not responsible for failures in technology such as but not limited to: technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery.  

Prizes are not transferable and have no cash value. Prize drawing participants, by entering, release AAHH its employees and its agents from any liability with respect to the receipt or use of any awarded prize. Winners’ names will be available on social media and websites.
