We are seeking three AmeriCorps Construction Crew Leaders to be an integral part of building homes and better neighborhoods in our service area through our new home construction and home repair programs. This position includes hands on construction tasks such as demolition, site prep, framing, insulation, drywall, flooring, roofing, finish carpentry and landscaping. And we’re seeking one AmeriCorps Volunteer Services Coordinator to perform three main functions: develop a strategic Home Repair volunteer program to increase the number of volunteers participating in this program; collect, input and analyze volunteer data with the purpose of developing better recruitment and retention strategies; and effectively communicate Habitat’s mission and vision with our volunteers.
In both positions, we are looking for members who possess a sincere desire to serve others, have a passion for volunteerism and teaching/group facilitation, and have strong team building skills.
