Wayne and Regenia have lived in Asheville for many decades. Their primary goal has always been to purchase a home at some point in their lives. They have lived in public housing for many years, and have made the best of their housing situation.

Over the years, their housing situation has changed in many ways. The growing uncertainty around Asheville’s rental market is what led the family to Habitat. Buying a Habitat home will give Wayne and Regenia a sense of permanence, and a solid foundation for the family to thrive.

By partnering with Habitat, their vision of homeownership is becoming a reality. They will soon own an accessible home where they can age in place. In a safe and stable environment, they look forward to creating lasting memories with their children and grandchildren.
