Climbing three flights of stairs every day to get to their apartment has become a challenge for Mykola and Nadiia, who have always dreamed of owning their own home one day. Having seen the work of Habitat for Humanity within their community, and witnessing others realize their dreams of homeownership, they decided to apply.

By partnering with Habitat, Mykola and Nadiia will enjoy stable housing. As owners of an Aging in Place unit, the couple will no longer have to climb stairs. Instead, their home will be accessible and safe, providing a solid foundation for the family to thrive. The Savchuk family looks forward to the many joyous moments that lie ahead, including watching their grandchildren play in the yard.
