DESCRIPTION:The Women Build Advocacy Team (WomBATs) proudly announces the Third Annual Singalong and Dance Party fundraiser for Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity’s 14th Women Build House ! \nJoin us as we hear live music from the band The Flashbacks\, covering songs from the 60’s and 70’s that will make you want to sing–and–dance along. \nIt’s free to attend this event\, but we will be asking you to make a donation in support of Women Build. We’re going to have lots of fun ways for you to make donations large and small\, so bring your wallets as well as your dancing shoes! \nHor d’oeuvres and sweets will be served\, along with wine and beer (cash bar). Two drinks are on us. \nDoors open at 6:30 for food and mingling. Music starts at 7:00. \nThis is a FREE event\, but there are a limited number of tickets available so please REGISTER to be sure you’ll be where it’s happening!

Applicants must qualify based on Residency Status\, Need\, Ability to Pay\, and Willingness to Partner (see below for details). \nWe are currently accepting applications for our new 12-home Curry Court neighborhood in Candler. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor more details on the home ownership program\, potential applicants are encouraged to attend an Information Session (see dates below). The sessions are held at Asheville Area Habitat Administrative Office at 33 Meadow Road.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Upcoming Information Sessions\nThe following 1- hour sessions will take place at Habitat’s Administrative Office at 33 Meadow Road\, Asheville\, NC \nSaturday 3/2/19 at 10 am \nWednesday 3/20/19 at 6pm \nWednesday 4/17/19 at 6pm \nPlease note: in the case of inclement weather\, Habitat will follow Asheville City School closings.
