DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, October 2nd from 1-5pm\, Ten Thousand Villages in Montreat (located at 303 Lookout Road\, Montreat\, in the Moore Center) will once again support Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity with its annual Community Shopping Event. 15% of sales during that timeframe will be donated to fund the construction of Habitat’s 300th House! \nThe public is encouraged to start early with holiday shopping during this special event! Shoppers have the opportunity to support fair trade worldwide while simultaneously supporting affordable housing locally in Buncombe County.
