DESCRIPTION:Second Gear Outdoor Consignment Store has named Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity as their nonprofit partner for the month of November.  1% of November proceeds will be donated to Habitat.  Customers can also choose to have all or part of their consignment proceeds directed to Habitat during November. \nOn Saturday\, November 18th\, come by Second Gear between 11am and 2pm to learn more about the work we do in assisting families in their search for affordable housing and to sign a stud wall that will be built into a Habitat home in Arden.  Neighboring store\, Whist\, will be donating 10% of their sales on event day to AAHH as well! \nShop Second Gear all month long and be sure to stop in on the 18th to meet members of our team. \n

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a kick-off party at Hi-Wire Brewing (Biltmore Village location).  A portion of beer sales will be donated to The House That Beer Built\, and will include the Big Top’s usual Monday Burger and Pint Night $12 from Foothills Food Truck. \nGuests are invited to sign a stud wall that will be used in the construction of the house\, and a door prize will be provided by Asheville Habitat. The future homeowners\, the Chrisman family\, will also be in attendance. \nAsheville Area Habitat for Humanity and the Asheville Brewers Alliance (ABA) are excited to partner for The House That Beer Built. This Habitat house will be funded and built by the local brewing community and beer lovers at-large\, with a generous lead gift by the Asheville Brewers Alliance. \nCan’t attend\, but want to support the cause?
