The Llanos Family
Nitza Llanos is a proud mother to three teenage boys. She feels it is her motherly duty to do the very best she can to provide her children “with a home that is well built in a neighborhood that is safe”. With the goal of improving her family’s housing situation, she saved for two years so that they could move out of a crime and drug infested area. Though the neighborhood is slightly better, they are now faced will extremely high heating bills.
Nitza works at Tyco Electronic. She has been employed there for four years as a line worker.
The Llanos’ house will be in Habitat’s Woodland Court subdivision in West Asheville. Their 4-bedroom/ 2-bath house is sponsored by the W&S Charitable Fund (Christmas Jam proceeds).
