Suzie Cromer and her daughter
Suzie Cromer and her daughter currently live in an income-based rental unit. Suzie took her first Homebuyer Education class in 1998, and she now feels financially ready to become a homebuyer. She did not qualify for a conventional home loan in Buncombe County, and was thrilled to learn she qualified for Habitat’s program.
Suzie is a cashier at a CitiStop; she also works seasonally as a tax preparer with H&R Block and has began working 10 hours each week as a peer support worker with Mental Health Associates.
Suzie and her daughter need a secure, affordable home and Suzie is ready to become a Habitat homeowner.
