The Sargent Family
The third house in Enka Hills sponsored by the S&W Fund will be home for the Sargent family.
Elaine Sargent and her family (a 12 year old son and 6 year old daughter) moved to Asheville from Slidell, Louisiana shortly after Hurricane Katrina. They currently lives in a 2-bedroom apartment in East Asheville.
Elaine wants a permanent home for her children; a place where each has their own room and there is safe outdoor space for play. Elaine looks forward to living in a stable neighborhood.
Elaine works as a bookkeeper for DeSantana Stone Company, Inc. and also works part-time at her children’s school, Evergreen Charter School.
