Simion and Alexandra Botnaru
Simion and Alexandra Botnaru have lived in Buncombe County for four years. Simion works in maintenance at Biltmore Farms Hotels, where his supervisor and the human resources department say he is a highly valued employee. Alexandra is unable to work due to a disability.
The Botnaru’s daughter and her family are Habitat Homeowners in Enka Hills, so they are very familiar with the neighborhood. Simion and Alexandra have both volunteered extensively at the jobsite; they are well known and liked by the staff and regular volunteers. Simion and Alexandra feel it would be a blessing to be close to their grandchildren and have family close by to assist Alexandra with her appointments.
The Botnarus are extremely grateful for the opportunity to become Habitat homeowners and they look forward to living near their family again.
