After discovering Asheville four years ago, Dielle packed her bags and left New Mexico, hoping to create a better life. While she loves the community and has found much opportunity for personal growth and career development, it has been hard to find safe, decent, affordable housing. After doing some research, visiting several banks and other organizations, she determined Habitat was a perfect fit for her.
Dielle loves her career. She works at AB-Tech as an Adult Basic Education instructor. Dielle also has a passion for singing and is a voice coach to six students.
She is excited to have a house where payments are more stable than rental units, the house is energy efficient, and she has her own yard and space.
