The Diaz boys
The 2007 CitiGroup Foundation sponsored house will be home to the Diaz family.
Francisco Diaz came to Asheville 11 years ago to work at The Grove Park Resort Inn and Spa, where he is a cook. His employer states that he wishes he could “clone him because he is a model employee who never misses work, is always on time, and who always has a smile on his face.”
Francisco lives with his three sons in a one-bedroom apartment in a dilapidated house in North Asheville. The boys enjoy working on the computer and reading.
