The Cojocaru Family

Alex and Vera Cojocaru live in a crowded apartment with their six children.

Alex has worked as a stockperson for Target for three years.  Vera works at Kohl’s.  They chose to work in retail to immerse themselves with English-speaking people and to have more practice speaking English.  Their native language is Moldovan.

The family has visited Enka Hills and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to live in a safe community with space for their children to play and grow.  The Cojocaru’s house is Asheville Area Habitat's 25th Anniversary house, supported by downtown Asheville churches.
