Vasyl, Vira and their children
The Kushtan Family

Vasyl and Vira Kushtan and their two teenage children currently live in an apartment complex with known drug activity and prostitution.  They fear for their safety, especially that of their teenage daughter.  There is excessive noise outdoors until the wee hours, making it difficult for the family to get a good night’s rest.  They have also had difficulty with plumbing leaks and an insufficient heat source.

The Kushtan children enjoy school and achieve excellent grades.  But their parents see unhappiness and fear in their children, largely due to their current housing situation.

Vasyl and Vira have a strong work ethic and are motivated to improve their housing situation.  The family very much looks forward to having a home of their own, in a quiet neighborhood where people respect each another.
