Melissa Roberts wanted a home for her daughter, a place to grow and play outdoors. She read about the Enka Hills Habitat community in the newspaper; a home at Enka Hills would allow her daughter to continue at her current elementary school.
Melissa applied for a Habitat house and was approved. She has worked as a cook in a local nursing home for five years.
