Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer driven organization – our committed and reliable volunteers are the backbone of everything that we do!
All prospective volunteers are asked to attend a volunteer orientation prior to working with us. This is an opportunity to ensure that volunteers are informed about the mission and work of our affiliate, and answers specific questions about volunteer opportunities at Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity. It includes:
Introduction to Habitat for Humanity International
History of Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity
How families are selected for the program
Volunteer opportunities
Tour of the Home Center by Home Store staff
This summer, the one hour orientation will be offered on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6pm, the 2nd Friday of each month at 10am, and the 3rd Saturday month of each month at 10am. We meet in the Habitat office located at
30 Meadow Road.
Seating is limited, so please register in advance by clicking the "Volunteer Up" button on this page.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity!
