For the third consecutive year, AAHH has been the recipient of a generous gift from Citigroup Foundation & CitiFinancial. The most recent $25k grant from the company will help sponsor AAHH's 2008 Building on the Dream House. The 2007 BOTD House was the first time Asheville Area Habitat had built a house in tribute to the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Citigroup's grant is enabling AAHH to build another house in the same vain; construction will begin on January 15, 2008.

Music from the annual Warren Haynes’ Christmas Jam is now available for the first time on CD. Warren Haynes Presents: The Benefit Concert, Vol 1 and Vol 2 are available for $19.98 each on-line, in music stores, and at the Habitat Home Store at 30 Meadow Road in Asheville. As is the case with proceeds from the Christmas Jam, proceeds from the sale of the double disks, as well as future series releases, will be donated to Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.

Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity has received a $25,000 grant from The Cannon Foundation. The money will be used to expand Habitat’s offices and Home Store to accommodate new staff, a volunteer workstation and a testing and repair station for household appliances.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (June 2005) -- The Janirve Foundation has given a $500,000 Leadership Grant to Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity to help it purchase and develop 16.5 acres of land in the Enka community of Buncombe County.
