Doug McLean was recently named a 2012 Graduate of Distinction by TC Roberson High School. The accomplishments and contributions of McLean and three other distinguished alumni were honored at the annual Graduates of Distinction program on Monday, May 7.
On May 5, 2012, from 9:30AM-12:30PM, fifty local youth ages 13-15, and supervisors will participate in Habitat Youth Build Day on the school campus of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Asheville. Initiated by the church’s Pastor Michael McFarland in 2010, Habitat Youth Build Day is a way for kids under the age of 16 to get involved with a social outreach ministry such as Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity.
