The Home Store is located at 30 Meadow Road, just north of the railroad tracks in Biltmore Village.

Since 1990, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity has operated a retail store as another source of income for our building program. The Home Store sells donated items to the general public.  Proceeds from Home Store sales cover all of Asheville Area Habitat’s administrative and fundraising costs, build one complete Habitat house and pay for the foundation of all Habitat houses in Buncombe County annually.

The Habitat Home Store also helps make home improvements more affordable for community residents and it diverts 1,100 tons of material from the landfill each year.

Home Store Now Selling on Amazon
You don't have to live in the Asheville area to support our Home Store!  If you are a book lover, visit our Amazon store on-line.  Check out the current offerings, and check back often as the inventory is always changing.  Great variety, including rare and collectible books.

Deconstruction Services
You know that Habitat constructs houses, but did you know that we also Deconstruct?  To learn more about our  Deconstruction Services and how salvagable items can be turned in to affordable housing, please click here.
