Orientation
Volunteer Orientation
Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer driven organization – our committed and reliable volunteers are the backbone of everything that we do!
All prospective volunteers are asked to attend a one-time, one-hour Volunteer Orientation prior to working with us. This ensures that all volunteers are informed about the mission and work of our affiliate, and it provides you with the opportunity to ask specific questions about volunteering with Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity. Orientation includes:
-
Introduction to Habitat for Humanity International
-
Overview of Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity
-
Information about Habitat's housing programs
-
Explanation of volunteer opportunities
-
Tour of the ReStore
Orientation is held at the Habitat ReStore at 31 Meadow Road, near Biltmore Village. Seating is limited, so please register in advance.
Sign up for a 1-hour volunteer orientation by clicking the Volunteer Now! button. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity!
